I have worked as a music therapist since 1992, including working with children and adults with learning disabilities, and more recently with adults with acute or chronic mental health problems.
From 2012-15 I was Chair of Trustees for the British Association for Music Therapy and was Conference Chair for both the 2014 and 2016 BAMT
Conferences.
I now work for East London Foundation Trust, an NHS mental health service, and also train music therapists on the MA Music Therapy Programme at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama.
I am an HCPC registered music therapist (AS00693) and a registered supervisor with the British Associaton for Music Therapy. I am also a Partner Visitor for the Health and Care Professions Council.
I am available for individual or group music therapy supervision or consultation. Please contact me for details.
I am currently engaged in PhD research into the musical training of music therapists. You can find out more about my research and publications at ResearchGate. Or find me on LinkedIn
